I am paralyzed on my right side from a stroke that I had when I was a kid. Exercising for me was a hassle and I always thought that people would gawk and stare while I was exercising. A few friends of mine started walking with me to make me feel less concious about myself. During the summer there are classes that I take for water exercise.

It is hard to find an exercise routine if you are handicapped in any way.

My sister is in a wheelchair now because of arthritis in both her hips and she can't get them replaced because of another health problem.

We have been searching for any exercise tapes for her to follow in the house. She also doesn't like to exercise in public. But almost all the tapes for people who sit, are made for the elderly. The exercises in them are extremely simple and gentle and just can't do much for someone who wants to really get some kind of workout and get their heart rates up.

We even spoke to a quigong teacher, who said he'd look around for us but so far even he hasn't found anything she can use.

Has anyone here seen a good tape for sitting, that is made for people who are still somewhat young?
