I am also of the opinion that if you want to loose weight it is absolutely necessary to change the eating habits. It is actually not possible to lose weight without taking care of your eating habits. I think it is important to drink lots of water, do physical exercises and eat healthy food. Besides this I am of the opinion that especially diet food is not always lower in calories. I think it is just important to eat fruits, vegetables, fish and so on.

Oh, I tend to give up (without supplements)--I become frustrated and run right to the food again to make myself feel better. Of course it doesn't work, but by the time I realize that---I have all the bad stuff back in my body and need to start all over again.

Becoming aware of your eating habits is a great place to start when wanting to lose weight. For someone like me, who has lots of weight to lose, the supplements give me a little push to keep on going. My results come off a little bit quicker. When things slow down for me, that is when I start to fall of the wagon.

Taking a supplement makes it a little easier for me to keep on going.

Vitamins are always good to take, whether or not you are on a diet.

However, I never have trusted those weight loss supplements. I agree, the best way to lose weight is to look at what your eating.

And stopping the fast food was one of the first things I had to do! Although there were so many things I loved to eat at those places, there's tons of ways to make healthier substitutions!

I would always tell someone to change their eating habits rather than go in, all guns blazing, for the suppliments.

Diet is a lifestyle choice, and if you are serious about loosing weight in the long term then you really do need to change your lifestyle.

I agree with your point. It is really hard to give up our food habits just because people are more lazy. Only a few would succeed in changing their diet and most of them go with supplements.
