when on a vegan diet it is very important to perform proper food combining to be certain one gets the required amounts of essential nutrients, especially protein.

Did you not miss certain things? I don't really like 'vegan' substitute foods like soya milk and cheese. Did you use a lot of those?[/i]

Protein is in soy and plants and a lot of other things, so you don't have to eat meat, you just have to be careful to ea a more balanced type of diet. I tend to eat protein bars every now and then, too.

I started eating like a vegan two weeks ago and I feel great. I'm always careful that I'm getting everything I actually need and almost nothing I don't. It's a little difficult because I don't live in a place where vegans are common, but since it works, I'll stick with it.
