White meat is the best meat if you want to lose weight but still keep a healthy, balanced diet. Chicken breasts and fish, those are the winners for both taste and health.

I am not a fan of fish, so never eat that. As for Chicken breast, it tends to be dry to me. Any way of making it so it is juicier?

Try cooking/baking the chicken breasts in chicken broth. Rather than it getting all dry, it sucks up the broth and keeps in nice and moist.

Thanks for the tip on cooking chicken! I am always worried about giving myself salmonella that I tend to overcook chicken haha.

I love fish though! Excellent way to get heathy fats and proteins to keep you fuller longer!

No problem. You are way more likely to get salmonella from the way you handle and prepare chicken (not cleaning surfaces, etc.), then by under cooking it. If you are really concerned, a cheap and easy way to avoid this is to buy a meat thermometer. Cooking times are merely estimates and often lead to overcooking. The way to know for sure, when the chicken hits an internal temp of 165 degrees, then you're done. That easy.

White meat is high in protein and low in fat. This can allow you to drop weight if you are in the habit of integrating it into your diet more often.

Even fish and seafood, including fatty and dark-fleshed fishes such as salmon, mackerel, and tuna, are called "white meat"

Alas, I don't like white chicken meat, even though I know of a good recipe that makes chicken breasts soft and juicy (bake them in a brown paper bag soaked with vegetable oil). I like fish though.
