How do you know what diet is right for your body type? There are so many diet plans and diet pills out there. The only thing that works for me is eating a well balanced diet and exercising.

You can always go to the internet to find out some of the things you need to know. There are some great sites that will help you determine your body type, I think there are three different kinds, and will tell you the best exercises to do for it.

I never really thought about body type when considering a diet. Makes me wonder if that is part of my problem as well.

I also didn't know it made a difference what body type you were when choosing a diet. I'm going to read more on that topic if I can find it.

I think choosing to exercise and eat a well balance diet is probably the best thing you can do though.

The best way to tell if a diet will work for your body type is to give it a try. If any problems are going to develop, they should do so within the first few days. Deeper issues may take longer though, and may present themselves in the form of hair loss, fainting, or skin problems.

If dieting strictly for weight loss, results about your only way to evaluate your change in eating habits.

Very true Diana sometimes you have to try it and see how well it works for you. Everyone is different and what works for some will not work for others.

It is hard to find. It depends on person to person. Either consulting a physician or by experience we would gradually know about the diet we have to take.

I think that to decide what diet plan will be suited for you, you must meet with qualified dietitian. If you want to receive the good results with your efforts for the weight loss, you must use complex methods which include the diet and exercises.

A well balanced diet and exercising sound like the most logical option to me. I still stand behind reducing processed foods. If my body isn't being nourished properly, I have cravings and tend to over eat.

I've heard that vegan diets work for almost everyone if you're careful about it.

Well, as far as I know, one thing to keep in mind is that it's harder to lose weight when you're slimmer to begin with, so it's always going to be slower going. That's probably something to be factored in. (Of course, the reverse holds true as well, which should be reassuring...)

I also think that you have to keep into consideration your lifestyle when picking out a diet plan to follow. To start any plan, I would start with more exercise and more healthy eating.

A lot of times the type of food you eat will depend on your goals. If you want to pack on mass, eating lots of protein would be a wise move.

Its really depends on our body metabolism. It is more reliable to consult a physcian to choose diet according to our body shape rather then getting information from books or internet.

It depends on your metabolism and type of weight gain. You'd best go and talk to a nutritionist, he or she will know what to tell you.
