ANTI-MOULD AGENTS
FUNCTION
Anti-mould agents are added to food to kill or inhibit the growth of mould. Typically anti-mould agents work by either coating food particles with a substance that inhibits or kills mold in the cell wall, or by the use of bacterial agents that consume mold for food.
